Introduction
From 2020, windPRO contains a database of more than 16000 existing wind turbines in Germany
Usage Notes
Things to consider when using this data set
- Data is based on user submitted data, so keep in mind that it can be inaccurate.
- There is roughly a 60% match, with known windPRO wind turbine types
- Start and End dates are available, if submitted by the user
- Grace period for older turbines, data must be submitted before 01.01.2021, so until then, the data cannot be considered complete.
- The database will be automatically updated every week
- Turbine types are not only industrial grade, but also smaller domestic turbines and classic/historical wind turbines exist in the database
Availability From within windPRO
Click the "Import existing WTG's" toolbar button
Select the Marktstammdatenregister
Click "Next" and then click "Ok" to search for existing WTG's within a 50km radius from your Site Center
Once imported, it's possible to view a detailed description
