August 2024, build 4.0.551

Below you will find a list of all issues fixed in Service Pack 4

This Service Pack contains corrections to bugs and comments reported by users. Thanks to all for submitting feedback.

See list of previous releases here: windPRO releases

The items below are ordered alphabetically by module, then by importance.

BASIS

  • Fixed issue where adding holes to e.g. Corine data would cause the Displacement Height Calculator to use the same height for all directions

METEO

  • Improved detection of time stamp format in AQ data files.

PARK

  • Fixed an error in the Ainslie 1988 wake model in special situations. It is recommended to do a recalculation if you have used the Ainslie 1988 wake model on a site with a densely packed neighboring windfarm with a low hub height located more than 100 rotor diameters upstream of a sparsely packed, much taller wind farm. A recalculation will yield lower wake losses in general.
  • Fixed error with f-parameter of RSF files not being properly normalized when using several Meteo objects for calibration

PERFORMANCE CHECK

  • Fixed issue where copy to clipboard did not work in the Wind speed substitution tab

PHOTOMONTAGE

  • Correction of WTG information when sorting after User Label in the report
