Introduction
The DGM datasets are official survey data of the respective Länder they are provided for (see section "Coverage" below).

Except otherwise mentioned, the datasets available in windPRO are from 2017.
Usage Notes
- If you have a project close to a state-border, then the list of available elevation datasets may also show data from nearby states. This is due to the fact, that that elevation datasets from individual states may overlap into neighbor states - and that the polygons used for coverage checks are not and cannot be 100% accurate. So, when you choose your elevation dataset from the list in the windPRO line-object or elevation-grid object, we recommend that you choose the one that is within the state borders of your project location. It could be a bit down the list, as the list is not prioritized according to geographical location.
